only the good times
it is definatly true what they say about forgetting the bad times of being pregnant but most importantly the dreaded child labour. i always remember saying i wanted 3 children and i would love to have them all by the time im 30 and i DISTINCTLY remember my partner asking me after the first child “so whens the next one” and telling him where he could go if he thought i was going through that again and i also know for a fact i meant it at the time, but being pregnant is just about the best time in a womans life. there is nothing like feeling a little tiny person moving about inside you elbows and knee’s and heels sticking out all over the place trying to get my husband and son to feel it but everytime they put their hands near my tummy it stops.. but when you want it to stop it does a nice litle dance all over your bladder that has you up too many times in a night. but every single little bad thing about being pregnant is worth all of it because you get something so precious and wonderful at the end.
my son has decided if its a boy we call it jack and if its a girl we call it lucy, dont quite know how were getting around that one yet and also me and my husband deciding on a name has become an all out war. Lets just say he has strong ideas and so do i. so with only 4 weeks to go hopefully their will be a ceasefire soon. i always find it hard choosing names. i mean we as their parents are responsible for naming this child with something they have to live with for the rest of their lives and also as the parent you really have to like the name because you will say it many many times in your life so it cant be anything that will grate on your ears in a few years, thats why i never understood the celebrity trends with names who would want to put a name like this on their child and when that child hits teenager years is standing infront of you cursing you for putting a name like that on them. Anyway the battle is ongoing between me and my spouse and as you can probaly tell is abit of a touchy subject. haha.
have a trip to the cinema to see wall-e organised today so i might find some inspiration somewhere along the way. i dont know if its just me but are kids getting cleverer these days. i found wall-e online yesterday and asked my son if he wanted to watch it here but he was smart enough to say no that he would wait so we could go to the cinema together and watch it. i was baffeled when he first realised what it was he could hardly contain himself with the excitment but when he realised if we watched it here we would have to watch something different he passed it up. a 4 year old turning down 2 movies?? ha. i just absolutly LOVE the innocence of kids, and long may it last
